Grandma and Grandpa Gilson

Yes! Reinforcements. Glen's parents gave me the break I needed. I got to take a few extra naps and I didn't have to do the dishes or the laundry. Thank you Mom!!! The kids loved playing pillowfight with her.
Dad did some projects around the house. He fixed a dining table chair that's been broken for over a year now and hanging out in the garage. The table lamp that wouldn't turn on and off got temporarily fixed (It's back to being stuck again.) I think he said he replaced 10 or 11 light bulbs. Glen replaced a bunch before he left and boom, boom, boom.
That's how many (plus the few I'd replaced out of necessity) that burned out since he left. Funny story. One day when Izzy's lightbulbs burned out, Andrew and Izzy found Glen and said, "Daddy, the batteries died." The teeter totter that I said I'd eventually get to got fixed. That teeter totter was a highlight for the kids this trip. They had so much fun (and of course Izzy fell a few times). Thank you so much Dad!!!
And look at these 2 cute boys. Like Grandpa, like Grandson.

We had a nice visit. The kids were sad to see grandma and grandpa go ... I was too. Thank you both for taking good care of us. We love you both. Get home safe and we'll see you in June.=)
