Grandma's House

Monday was another busy day. The plan was to go to my Grandma's house and visit for a bit, go to Layton Park and play, head down to Temple Square and back to Dane and Jenn's so the kids could play and I could take a nap before heading out for a nighttime drive. (Yes, nighttime driving is usually my job. As long as I get a good nap and have some good music to dance to when I get sleepy, I'm good to go. Gotta love that Brad Paisley. Newest cd, 5th Gear, is AWESOME!!!) Well, it didn't quite turn out as planned.

First we got to Grandma's around 11:30ish in time for lunch. Before getting there, the kids were excited they were going to see Great-Grandma Carter. Izzy asked if we were going to get to see the dead animals. Grandpa liked hunting and has these few things on his wall. The kids also remembered that Great-Grandma has candy that she's always readily willing to hand out. I can't believe they remembered all that. It's been over a year since we saw her last. Just makes me wonder what else they remember. I'm just hoping they remember nice mommy more than they remember grumpy mommy.=)
