After the pond, we decided to try to find the Y again. Andrew kept reminding us that he was going to hike it tomorrow w/ Uncle Dane so he didn't need to go. I still wanted to see the view from the point. Isn't it gorgeous?

We next drove around planning to walk around the temple grounds but found Kiwanis Park instead. Memory: Glen and I had a ward picnic there once. We also had a picnic w/ just the 2 of us and read a few chapters of Tarzan together. Fun times.=) Anyways, I couldn't remember if it had a playground or not so we drove into the parking lot to look around. There was a playground off in the distance attached to a school so we drove around til we found the perfect place to park.

I had to laugh at this sign. It says "No Golfing No Arrow Shooting." Who goes to a school playground to go arrow shooting and/or golfing.=) Only in Utah?

This was part of the park we found. It had everything including this FUN rock to climb. Off the playground were these huge pine trees w/ branches almost touching the ground. They could make perfect places to have a secret clubhouse, fort, dungeons, etc. The possibilities are endless. Too bad we had to head back for another potty break. The day was absolutely perfect ... or I guess it turned out that way. The after church meltdown was much needed anyways.=)
