On the drive home, I noticed the same sign I always see between Utah and Vegas. It's a historical marker that says "Dinosaur Tracks." Last time home, I suggested we stop but Glen was anxious to get home. Me too, but I was still curious to know what it was. This time home, all the kids were awake so I said, "Why not?"
It was a cute little museum about 2 mi. from the freeway. These dinosaur tracks were discovered in 2000 so it's not very old. Cute little place. First, we watched a short little video about the museum. The kids enjoyed that. In the movie room were also some fossils and Andrew and Izzy LOVED that. Then we walked around the museum. At the gift shop, they were each able to pick out one gift to remember the experience. Then the preschool corner had coloring pages and stencils to trace. The favorite part of the whole experience was the sandbox outside. The kids went digging for dinosaur tracks. They were excited to find 5 footprints and had a tough time stopping at that, but it was time to go home.
