Ward dance

Tonight we had so much fun.  Our ward had a family dinner and a dance.  Just a simple dinner of hot dogs, chips and veggies and then the dancing began.  Each song had someone to lead the steps so if unsure, we always had someone to follow along.  I'm sad more of the pictures we took didn't come out, but you get the idea.  Songs included, the Twist, the Bunny Hop, Electric Slide, Boot Scootin Boogie, Macarena, Limbo, some more modern line dances that I learned tonight and Thriller.  I couldn't believe how many older people were out there doing that one.  Hilarious!  We also learned some basic salsa steps before a song.  A tango was played.  I even got to do a few minutes of the Charleston, wishing I had a partner to Lindy with.  It was a lot of fun.
The girls doing the twist.

Calvin even had a good time riding in the backpack.  At times, I also had Alex to bounce around.  It made some of the line dances a little tricky, but it was fun.
Izzy was so cute during the Macarena.  See video below.

Watch the video.  She's so adorable.

So much fun! I think we should have a ward dance here. :O) We had a ward campout last night. It was a lot of fun, we went for the evening and came back, I did not feel like staying the night with Braddoc, but it was a ton of fun. Its so nice to have a ward that is so active, I am glad you are enjoying it there. :O) The kids are growing so fast. I love your nature walks too. :O)
