That's the update for now. We're here safe and sound ... unless the kids keep crying or touching each other too much, then someone might be hurting.=) Boy there are too many grumpies from tight living spaces, long car driving, and not enough sleep. Next step is looking for a place to live but tonight is just relaxing and enjoying the free AC.=)

We left Las Vegas ...
And we're here. Now what? We checked into the base hotel which is a tad bigger than the one in Vegas (nothing to brag about as it was extremely tiny.--The only plus was it had a separate bedroom which Calvin got to claim most of the time for naps. That meant no mommy or daddy just watching Law and Order or anything else above PG unless Calvin was awake and we could kick all the kids into the tiny bedroom. But we survived.) This place has a bigger kitchen, Calvin still gets our room, but this time there's breathing room between the wall and the portable crib, and our internet works. YIPEE!!! In the living room area, we're not climbing over each other so I guess we're sitting pretty comfy. Just don't open the front door or go outside. 90+ degree weather and the humidity is amazingly sticky. Not used to that anymore. We stopped at a park so the kids could play and pass the time til check in and they kept begging to get back in the car cuz it was too hot. With kids, I didn't think that was possible and who wants to get back in the car after 18+ hrs.? Crazy kids. The base looks a lot like Hawaii's with lots of one way roads and old buildings. I'm sure it'll eventually look familiar but for now it's still feeling like a very strange town.
