We got to see how a pizza shop is run. We went to the kitchens where they showed us how to make pizza. It brought back my Little Caesar's and Mama K's memories.
This is how they toss the dough. We never did it that fancy at my pizza shops. Maybe that's what made their pizza so good.=)
Then Buck showed us the saucing.
And then the kids got to top their own half of a pizza. Are you serious? Half a pizza and not just 1/4? Yep, and with 3 kids making 1/2 a pizza each, we enjoyed lunch and went home with dinner.
Alex topped her half with mushrooms.=) That's my girl!
The kids LOVED the ovens. They roll through on this conveyor belt and 6-8 mins. later, you have done pizza.
And check out that spatula.
What a fun and yummy field trip. If we lived closer to Buck's Pizza, we'd probably order from there cuz it was sure good.

This looks like a lot of fun!
I am so impressed with you guys buying a cow and selling the meat. I would have never thought to do that.
The pizza looks delicious!
It's funny how you're in WA but Texas Longhorn fans are everywhere... the lady at the pizza shop has a shirt.
I also think Calvin's hair is adorable long and curly!
Love all the updates. All those field trips look fantastic and fun. Once again you ALMOST make me want to homeschool:) Great idea with the meat, I don't think we would ever do that but it would be nice to know exactly where your meat came from and how fresh it is. You live a very unique life and your kids are getting such a broad education. Great job!
