Belated birthday girl--Where a kid can be a kid!

Now we can finally say we've been to Chuck E Cheese.  We gave Izzy the option: a few friends for cake and ice cream at the house or only 1 friend to Chuck E Cheese.  They've been begging to go ever since they saw commercials on tv when we were staying in TLF (Temporary Living Quarters) when we first moved here.  (Thanks a lot cable.)  So, she chose the friend and Chuck E. Cheese.  It was fun and pricey enough for a once a year option for birthdays (maybe!)  She had fun and the rest of us did too.  My favorite part was the stamp at the door.  No one else could leave with my child which meant my eyes weren't totally focused on Alex and Calvin running in different directions.  What a relaxing party--and now they can say they've been to Chuck E. Cheese.

Calvin is into cars.  His favorite game is to hop into the minivan faster than we get there so he can "drive."  He was in heaven at this place.  Every car-like object was tried out by this little guy.

Alex loved the carousel.  We kept her cup of tokens with us and she'd come back for "another one", run to find the next fun thing and come back for "another one."  Not sure if that was the way that teaching moment should've happened, but she had fun.
After a while, she got tired of the little horse.  She's not little anymore.  She was up and down this big guy multiple times.
Dance machine games.  Anyone out there good at them?  These girls weren't a big fan.  (Aubrey was the friend.)
Big girl was too little to hold the gun high enough.  Had fun shooting with daddy though.
And last but not least.  Gotta get proof that we saw Chuck E.
Happy Birthday my princess.  Glad you had a great time.

Looks like great fun! Once in a great while, it's fun to try something they really want to do, right?

I love Chuck E Cheese, as a kid for every A you got at report card time you got 10 free tokens, so we would go every quarter, it was a blast we took Landon when he was 18 months and he had fun, I think its where adults can be a kid too. :O)
