There is truth to the saying "Set a good example for your sister."
A trick I've learned in parenting is that you teach the older ones and the younger ones just catch on. Andrew and Izzy are in charge of folding their own clothes and Alex wants to be like the big kids. So naturally she wants to fold laundry too. Crazy girl, but I'm not one to fight that one.=) It's not as neat as the other kids, but she doesn't do too bad. This was after Glen taught her to turn her clothes right side out. She was soooo cute.
Excuse me please. Gotta go put my clothes away.

AWESOME!!! Good job Mommy!
My extended family always said I was nuts for having my girls help me with daily chores... guess they think it's pretty cool now when they see Kaylie & Makenzie doing it on their own- and loving it:)
Great job involving your kids. I realized I was waiting until Morgan took his naps to do everything. Now I try to involve him or at least do them while he's awake so he gets used to the process. Great example!
Jamie~ Thank you sooo much for the comment. It really means a lot to hear from you:) Trust me, I know I'll be freaking out and asking for advice! LOL
Brilliant! I love that about kids. I also love how if one is in trouble or time-out, the other will amazingly become the sweetest angel. hehe, kids.
