Wrong Number ...

I just got another phone call for the wrong number.  Out of frustration (and humor), I'd like to pass these messages off into the world wide web just in case they may be reading this random post.

Carol Moya (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong but phonetically it's "moy" as in toy and "a" as in tada--don't laugh at my attempt at phonetics.=) you have an important business matter that needs to be addressed.  In fact, it's so important that the silly machine that talks to me, can't understand when I say "She doesn't have this number anymore."  Plus I can't connect to anyone important to pass on this message.  But it's an important business matter that you really should check on.

Art and Harriet, I'm not sure what you did in your previous life at this phone number, but I'm amazed at the number of attorneys and friends that are still looking for you.  I wonder if someday I'll run into you and be able to congratulate you for disappearing so well.  After 3 years (or more, not sure who had this number first you or Carol?), they're very persistent.  One time I had a fun time trying to convince the attorney that I don't even know you, just that I get enough messages to not be surprised they're looking for you.  I do have to say that I'm thankful that your 3 am friends finally gave up.  Now that was fun.

Hey,

Thanks for writing to me with your help suggestions.I am sure you noticed I figured out the music and slides all in one day. I know ....your impressed=)Anyway. I totally hear you on the phone thing. When we moved into the first house we had our same phone number for 4years but somehow as soon as the new adress was associated to our old phone number people were calling for the previous tenants all the time. The worst part is they were deadbeats and all of the calls were creditors but wait it gets worse..the prvious tenants name was...yes you guessed it...Melissa!! Now try having a creditor ask is this Melissa and I say yes and then when they say the last name try to explain they have the wrong Melissa living at the same adress as the one they are looking for. They never believed me once I said yes I was Melissa. I mean would you believe me if you were the person calling. You would think I was trying to lie and get rid of them too. I know I probably would. So I couldn't really get mad.Anyway, This issue took months to fix. We were still having problems up to the point we moved out of that house and we changed our phone number at that point. So I feel your pain!!Oh and by the way our new number is 407-593-2493. I don't remember if I ever gave it to you.
