Dare I?

We close on our house next week (YAY!) and Izzy and I have different ideas of how we want to decorate her room. (What is it with Izzy posts lately???) She doesn't want a purple room but a Pixie Hollow room. So I ask what is a pixie hollow room? She describes her walls as being the colors of a sunset and a tree with lots of fairies. Her description was too long to keep up with so I said, "Draw me a picture." She did also mention that if I thought it would be too hard, she could do it herself.
So this was her masterpiece. She says she can paint better than she can draw so do I get crazy like I did with our birthday cake decorating and let her do it or would that just be taking their creativity a bit too far?=)

It is her room. She is to feel comfortable in her room and if she wants to decorate it, let her. I know just a grandma talking but she may surprise you!

Sure, why not? You can always paint over it later, right? :) What a creative, imaginative little girl!

Looks like we will be closing on our houses around the same time. Yeah for new homes!

oh I say LET HER DO IT!

1st, Rocky did a mural in the girls room and gave Maddy a paintbrush too...she had free rein, and it's awesome having her own personal touches on the walls!

2nd, that means YOU don't have to do it! lol, less work = more relaxing ;)

and tell her I am really impressed with that drawing and can't wait to see her painting skills!!! ;)
